We are a pharmacy, so somebody who knows the answer is usually in the building.
Anything about a resident's medicines that cannot wait — a missing dose, a medicine that has not arrived, a change from the GP that needs to happen today — should be a phone call. Email and the messages in the eMAR are read during working hours, and nobody watches them overnight.
| What about | Where to go |
|---|---|
| The eMAR, or arranging to see it | carehomes@ayphealthcare.co.uk Or fill in the form on the eMAR page. |
| A resident's medicines, an order, a delivery | Ring the pharmacy on the number your home already has. Your manager keeps it by the trolley. |
| Anything urgent | Ring. Please do not email. |
| Data protection, or a request about someone's records | carehomes@ayphealthcare.co.uk, marked for the data protection lead. |
| Something that went wrong, or a safety concern | Ring the pharmacy and ask for the Clinical Safety Officer, or email the address above. We would always rather hear about it. |
If you have forgotten your password, your manager can set a new one — we cannot see it, because passwords are never stored in a form anybody can read.
Inside the system there is a Messages screen for anything about a resident that can wait. It keeps the question and the answer next to the resident they are about, so both sides can find it later. It is not for emergencies, and it says so on the screen.
